Having a French/ international school in Austin is a great idea. It could become a great school with the proper leadership and new Management team in place. The school unfortunately is not properly managed, which results in the high burnout among teachers and there is an important turnover every year (that's not just because they hire foreign teachers like they would tell you). Some of the teachers do a fantastic job, however others are not good at all, and despite several complaints they're still teaching in that school. This has a negative impact on the children's education. On the academic level, please beware that they are using the MAP testing system and not the STAAR, so it will be hard for you to know how your child is doing (vs other Texas schools) until they leave the school. I would recommend to think carefully before enrolling your child into this school especially considering the tuition fees and the additional money they ask for all year along. You will be better off investing your money into moving to a good school catchment area, which there are plenty of them in Austin and you can still pay for French/spanish lessons on the side if you want your child to learn a new language.

This is amazing! You get to learn three different languages. However, I feel like they should deal with some of the teachers.
