This is no longer my child's school. I loved this school until an upper elementary teacher was hired, at which point the entire vibe of the school changed. That's when the rumors and drama began, causing some people who teach and work in other parts of the school to change. I didn't want my child in a small atmosphere that seemed to encourage hatred. My child was never treated unfairly, and he/she was never the type to get into trouble. The difference in the school could be seen and felt, as well as the changes in their education.
Such an amazing school! My children attended here from kindergarten to eighth grade. My children's upbringing in a Christian setting was critical in shaping who they are today. Every day, they began their day with the pledge of allegiance, went to chapel once a week, and read their bibles at school. They learned to work with a variety of teaching styles and to study alongside a variety of students from various backgrounds. They had a good education, which qualified them for honors and AP classes in high school. I would still choose Redeemer Lutheran for my child's education if I had to do it all over again.
The education my child receiving at Redeemer Lutheran School for the tuition we're paying isn’t worth it. You are better off attending another private school or public school that has their act together and can give a child a foundation for future learning later in life. Overall, I would not recommend this school.
