My children are getting an excellent education. The administration and employees care about each student and want to see them come to know, love, and serve the Lord. I have always had a quick answer about any issues with my children, which range from elementary to high school. I appreciate regular progress reports and report cards in addition to being able to access the Headmasters grades to stay up to date. Teachers can be contacted if you have a question via an app, phone or email. Communication shouldn't only be the teachers responsibility it goes two-ways.
I've been at Santa Rosa Christian School for three years and I'm finishing my last grade now. The students and staff have been so hospitable, as well as friendly in the last two years. Mr. Watt was an amazing principal. He loved every student here and wanted all of us to come and save the knowledge of Jesus Christ, as well as doing great things with our lives. My faith and my walk with God has been strengthened, since I've been attending this school. When it comes to academics, this school challenged me to do my best and hardest, with everything I do. I would recommend your children to enroll here. In here, they will learn about God and have a good education. They will also meet some very good children, whom they can make friends with, that will strengthen their faith and will challenge them to have a stronger walk with God. I'll be forever grateful for all the hard work that this school did to give me a great education.
I feel like this school should take "Christian" off their name. Christians are elegant, act in honesty, stand up for what is right, and love people of all races. According to the Bible, you must conduct everything in decency and order. SRCS has failed to keep parents informed in this area.
Some staff members have racist beliefs, which they freely express in front of parents and pupils. These viewpoints are definitely the opposite of Christian conduct. From kindergarten to ninth grade, my child attended this school. When it became evident that these attitudes are acceptable among staff members, I decided to transfer him. What a shame that folks who claim to be Christians and interact with students on a regular basis hold these beliefs.
Santa Rosa Christian School was a very positive and caring environment. However, in recent years, after a new principal took over, it has become a very negative and toxic environment. They are very judgmental and try to scare children to salvation. Unfortunately, this ends up turning many kids away from the love of Jesus.
