When we enrolled in Good Shepherd Lutheran School, we were fed with a bunch of lies. They lied about it's an anti-bullying school, that they promote compassion, and tolerance. However, we experienced the exact opposite. The staff only caters those wealthier families. They're rude and disrespectful towards children and families too. Also, their is an overt alienation of other children's classrooms. Cliques were already formed as early as preschool and weren't discouraged. We deeply regret of enrolling our child here.
Good Shepherd Lutheran School has changed significantly in recent years. Unfortunately, it's not for the best. Although it was once a lovely little school, with great as well as supportive teachers, it is now run by an indecisive principal and an administrative team. They lack basic communication skills and knowledge about their own school policies. Also, the culture has completely changed. It is now a school that only serves its wealthiest families and those that give more money. They completely disregard the needs of the other 95% of students and their families. Because of this, there's a heightened number of families leaving the school. Don't even consider the middle school. It's honestly shameful.
I am very pleased with the excellent curriculum integrated into extended enrichment classes of Good Shepherd Lutheran School. It makes the day full and fun when my kids come home tired and happy. It's really a great school.
