When selecting a school for my child, I was looking for a school that will make him feel confident and challenge his ability and curiosity, while making him feel secure. Since our introduction with St Mary School, everyone always made us feel welcome. I always felt that everyone made it a point to get to know us on a personal level, as well as supporting us. The teachers really tune into a child's intrinsic learning style and personality. The only question that mattered to me when I visited the school was, "How is this school going to make my child a better person?" From the moment I toured the school last year, I just felt that this school is the right fit for my child. I felt comfort and I felt like the people there cared. I love the classroom size, the density, how the teachers and staff genuinely care and how everyone knows my child's name. This school has shown a level of caring and compassion, that has made me feel very happy choosing it and for molding him into becoming a better person. In a very short period of time, he learned about different cultures, backgrounds, and ways of handling problems. I personally feel it's making him think and learn more than if we were anywhere else. Also, this school exceeded my expectations of what I'm looking for. It cares about the students as well as to the families that go there. I've been impressed with all the programs that are offered and the extra level of care and attention that is provided by them. I often wish that I went to this school as a child. The students that enrolled there are all happy and they all get along. It's not a chore to come here. From what I've seen so far, the school encourages learning in a fun way. It goes beyond simple memorization, but makes you questions why things are the way they are. I personally couldn't tell you a better fit for my child. Our child is learning on building upon the strong foundation that this school has imprinted into him. I'm confident that Barnhart has provided him with the tools to becoming a free thinker and a kind hearted child that will have the characteristics instilled in him for success in the future. We're all happy and grateful that my child is enrolled here.
